Due to the scheduled beautification project in downtown Norfolk, we’ve temporarily relocated to Johnson’s Park! Just steps from downtown, we’re anticipating this to be our biggest party yet. 2017: River Point 'FORK FEST
Featuring the Norfolk Area Food Truck Rumble
For the second year in a row, the Norfolk area will serve up a food fight of sorts, a rumble to be exact. Last year the Rumble was a part of the Hear Nebraska tour which was brought to 3rd & Norfolk Avenue under the watchful eyes of Norfolk's hometown hero, Johnny Carson.
This year will be similar, but the entire event will fall under the newly adopted name, 'Fork Fest. The name, based off of the tendency most Norfolkans have to mispronounce the town name as Nor-FORK rather than Nor-FOLK, will be represented by a brand new logo which shows an actual fork (yes the kind you eat with) twisted into the legendary "rock on" symbol.

So, now that you have the basics, let's talk about the rest of the details.
8am - 6pm | Sidewalk Sales (Riverpoint in Downtown Norfolk)
Noon - 9pm | Float the Fork (Riverpoint Landing - 1st Street across from Johnson Park)
3pm | Float Your Fork (Riverpoint Landing - 1st Street across from Johnson Park)
4pm - 7pm | Hear Norfolk Bands Perform (Johnny Carson mural at 3rd & Norfolk Ave)
Featured Bands: The Begats, Baker Explosion and Tucker Hill Citizens Brigade.
4pm - 11:30 pm | Beer Garden (Johnny Carson mural at 3rd & Norfolk Ave)
5pm - 8:30 pm | Food Truck Rumble (3rd Street between Norfolk Ave & Madison Ave)
7pm - 9pm | Dine and Drive classic car cruise (Norfolk Ave - 1st St, Omaha Ave - 13th St)
7pm - 11:30 pm | Hear Nebraska Music (Johnny Carson mural at 3rd & Norfolk Ave)
Featured Bands: Kris Lager Band, Thick Paint, Hakim and The Ambulanters

These aren't the only events going on in the area. August 3 - 5 is going to be packed with tunes as 'Fork Fest is joined by the Eckophonic at Music in the Park on Thursday and an 80's tribute concert series featuring Rick Springfield and other hit bands out at the Divots Concert Series on Friday and Saturday night.

If you like music, food, sales, cars and water, Norfolk has you covered. Make plans to get here and have a blast.

FRIDAY: Local Food Truck Vendors Come to You
US92, NORFOLK, NE — Food trucks have become a popular movement in Norfolk over the past few years.

This Friday, the Norfolk Area Small Business Team is bringing the people of Norfolk a Food Truck Rumble event, where local vendors come to the people.

Candice Alder, Economic Development Coordinator for the city of Norfolk says after seeing more food trucks pop up around town they figured this would be a great opportunity for the community to check out what these vendors had to offer.
